Concept Design & Concept Testing Research
Generating new concepts and designs for any new real estate project is important. Coming up with the right concept or design is critical. That’s why O'Connor & Associates’ market research and strategic consulting services offers concept and design testing and research. Our goal is to make sure you choose the right option based on real data, not just on your gut feeling.
Our concept design and testing research is qualitative research conducted during the planning stages of a real estate project. The purpose of the study is to generate creative ideas and to elicit feedback on proposed development concepts. Rough renderings of site plans, exterior and interior architecture, collateral marketing materials, and other aspects are tested in groups of 2 to 8 people who are similar to the target market for the development. We conduct this type of study very early in planning as well as immediately prior to roll-out. The goal is to ensure optimal design of the project and alignment with the needs and preferences of the target buyers / tenants.
Deliverables include:
- Executive summary report of findings and strategic recommendations;
- DVD’s of actual prospect and customer interviews.
