Your Property Appraisal Process

When we engage with you to complete your casualty loss valuation for your flooded property,  we will prepare and send to you a Tax Professional package which includes the following:

  • A summary of the Total Casualty Loss Before Reimbursements
  • Explanation of Tax Savings and relevant assumptions
  • An invoice for services, payable within 30 days of receipt
  • Letter to your Tax Professional
  • Example of IRS Casualty Loss Form 4684
  • Instructions for IRS Form 4684 completion
  • Excerpt from IRS Rev Proc 2018-09
  • Excerpt from HR 3823 Disaster Relief and Airport & Airway Extension Act of

Additionally, we will talk with your Tax Professional if he or she has any questions about how this information can be used in your tax return

Once you submit the form below, we will send you a Client Services Agreement for your signature.  Once we have received your signed agreement, we will proceed with the process and expect to have the package in your hands within one week.

Here is a schedule which you can use to determine your invoice amount:

$500,001 – $1,000,000 $1,490
$1,000,001 – $3,000,000 $3,497

NOTE: if the appraised value is greater than $3,000,001, we will review the fee with you by phone
