CollinCAD 2017 Property Valuations

Collin County property taxes are based on values determined by the Collin Central Appraisal District (CAD) after the protest process is complete. In 2023, there were 432,281 tax parcels across the county, with a total market value of $294.9 billion. Of that amount, residential properties accounted for $170.8 billion, commercial properties for $39.7 billion, and business personal property for $11.2 billion. To manage and assess such a high volume of properties, the appraisal district relies on a wide range of resources and allocates substantial funding to perform accurate valuations.
