In Polk County as of 2024, the market value for houses was $3 billion. In the county, 1,382 protests were filed, and the value of those protests was $399 million. Through the Appraisal Review Board (ARB), 209 protests were filed, and 97 houses received a reduction. The reduction, as a result of protests, was $1 million. Further reductions were achieved through lawsuits.
