According to the Hill County Appraisal District (CAD), approximately 3,005 property tax protests were filed by Parker County property owners in 2024. Of those, 667 were for single-family homes, 16 for apartment complexes, and 313 for commercial properties. The total value of the properties under protest amounted to $2 billion.
