With a 25-year background in commercial and multifamily property management, Doug Ford is a Senior Licensed Property Tax Consultant and Supervisor of the Commercial Property Tax Division. His skill as an analyst for apartment acquisitions contributes to his success in assessment reductions in this specialty area. He is involved in the Institute of Real Estate Management and has been a director for both the San Diego County Apartment Association and the Apartment Association of Tarrant County.
Kirk Ward, Senior Property Tax Consultant
Kirk Ward has been with O’Connor for more than 13 years, specializing in valuing real estate property throughout Texas and supervising the departmental support in Central Texas to assist in property valuation. He joined our firm after nine years with the Harris County Appraisal District and is a Registered Professional Appraiser, a Certified Tax Administrator and a Senior Licensed Property Tax Consultant.

Andrew has 35+ years of experience in property management, consulting, sales, marketing, construction, accounting, and property tax. Andrew has led the O’Connor team in creating The O’Connor Approach™, which is a proprietary methodology to calculate and deduct the nontaxable intangible business enterprise value of a hotel’s flag from its market value.
Mona Govahi, National Property Tax Business Development Manager
Mona Govahi joined O’Connor in 2018. Mona is an attorney-at-law (foreign) with a paralegal certificate in Texas. She is the National Property Tax Business Development Manager, a licensed property tax consultant, a liaison of nationwide affiliated attorneys and appraisers, and client relations. She helps businesses develop long-term relationships with clients. Mona oversees the sales leads, evaluates current sales performance, and identifies ways an organization can expand and grow. She is responsible for helping with attending conferences and industry events, training business development staff, and Developing quotes and proposals for prospective clients.

A licensed senior property tax consultant, and a licensed real estate broker, Abraham leads a team of experienced commercial property tax consultants that are aggressive in representing clients in the appeals process to achieve the lowest possible assessment value and tax payments. Abraham’s proven track record includes leading the enterprise-level growth of O’Connor through hospitality industry affiliations involving renowned hospitality associations, investors, and management firms. He also directed strategic growth for O’Connor that encompasses the most innovative appeals methods and judicial appeals management. Abraham also played a major role in the development of the O’Connor Approach, a proprietary methodology for removing intangible business enterprise value of commercial properties and winning landmark court cases to reduce a significant amount of property tax for O’Connor’s clients.
Jerome Kelley, Residential Hearings Manager
Jerome manages residential hearings at O’Connor. He joined the company in 2008 as a property tax consultant and has moved up in the company, first to Residential Supervisor and then later to Residential Hearings Manager. Jerome has more than 20 years of operational management experience as well as over 15 years’ experience in Real Estate and Contract Negotiations. While with O’Connor, Jerome has guided our residential hearings department to increase efficiencies while improving performance. Jerome’s team handles over 200K client hearing protests each year.
