Angelina County 2024 Property Tax Protest
According to the Angelina County
Appraisal District (CAD) reports, 2,889 property tax protests were filed. Out of the total number of protests, 881 protests filed were for single family residential and 452 were for commercial in Angelina County. Other protests filed through the Angelina CAD included
business personal property (BPP), utilities, and industrial property. The total value of protests amounted to $2 billion. Protests that were filed through the
Appraisal Review Board (ARB) resulted in a reduction of $338,832 for all types of properties.
