The Brazos Central Appraisal District (CAD) conducts a market value assessment to determine the property taxes of Brazos County. The valuation of agricultural land and open space, as well as exemptions, have a substantial impact on property taxes in Brazos County. The market value of all property in the county for 2024 was $41 billion.
