BurnetCAD 2017 Governance
The Burnet Central Appraisal District (CAD) is overseen by a board of directors made up of five individuals chosen by local taxing entities such as school districts, cities, counties, and special-purpose districts. These directors act on behalf of the entities that appoint them and are primarily responsible for hiring the chief appraiser and approving the district's budget.
