Comal Appraisal District 2023 Property Tax Protest
In 2023, Comal County property owners filed protests that amounted to 28,688 and they were valued at $19 billion. Of the full count of protests, 14,474 were for single family property, 542 were for apartments, and 2,154 were for commercial. Through the Appraisal Review Board (ARB), 8,649 hearings were scheduled, as a result 2,979 properties received a reduction in 2023.
