Coryell Central Appraisal District 2023 Property Tax Protest
Per Coryell Central Appraisal District (CAD), a total of 2,976 property tax protests were filed in 2023. Out of the total protests filed for all property, 1,270 were for single family homes, 224 were for commercial, and 380 were for apartments. The total value of the protests filed for 2023 was $1 billion, and a reduction of $12 million was achieved through Appraisal Review Board (ARB) tax hearings.
