Dallas County Appraisal District 2024 Industrial Personal Property Tax Protest Summary

For the Dallas Central Appraisal District (CAD), the market value for real property was $3.5 billion, and for personal property it was $10.3 billion. There were 465 industrial real property tax protests and 384 industrial personal property tax protests. The value for industrial real and personal property protested amounted to $8.1 billion. A reduction was achieved for industrial property through lawsuits against the value, and the amount was $155 million.
