Dallas County Tax Appraisal – 2023

The Dallas Central Appraisal District (CAD) operates under the oversight of a five-member board of directors. These board members are appointed by local taxing entities—such as school districts, municipalities, the county, and special districts—and serve as representatives of these organizations. In order to protect their interests, tax bodies choose the board of directors’ members to serve on their behalf.

Is Anyone Representing You?

Although you are free to represent yourself in appeals at Dallas CAD, it is recommended that you consult with professionals in the property tax field to increase your chances of obtaining a reduction. Work with O'Connor to contest your case if you can't do it alone. Enrollment is free; you will never be late with your property taxes again.
