Denton County 2024 Property Tax Protest
According to reports from the Denton Central Appraisal District (CAD), many property owners filed protests through the Appraisal Review Board (ARB). A total of 123,032 protests were filed, with residential properties accounting for 82,382 of them. Additionally, there were 5,654 protests for commercial properties and 1,670 for business personal property (BPP) . Altogether, the total value of the protests reached $98 billion.
