Kendall County Property Tax Protests

According to the Kendall Appraisal District reports, 4,587 thousand property tax protests were filed. Out of the total number of protests, 2,416 protests filed were for single family residential and 563 were for commercial. Other protests filed for the KCAD include business personal property, utilities, and industrial. The total value of protests amounted to $4 billion. Protests that were filed through the Appraisal Review Board (ARB) resulted in a reduction of $15 million for all types of properties.
