Parker County Appraisal District 2023 Property Tax Protest
According to the Parker County Appraisal District (CAD), approximately 21,869 property tax protests were filed by Parker County property owners in 2023. Of those, 11,629 were for single-family homes, 442 for apartment complexes, and 1,208 for commercial properties. The total value of the properties under protest amounted to $8 billion. As a result of formal hearings conducted by the Appraisal Review Board (ARB), 11,862 protests were successful, leading to reductions totaling $7 billion in assessed value.
