County Tax Appraisal – 2024
Appraisal District Governance 2024
The Tarrant Appraisal District (TAD) is guided by a Board of Directors that consists of four members, each chosen by local tax entities to provide oversight and direction. These entities (counties, cities, special districts, and schools) ensure that their respective interests are represented on the board. Among the board's primary duties are the selection of the chief appraiser and the approval of the district's budget.
Is Anyone Representing You?
While the tax entities appoint the board members to act on their behalf, individuals also have the right to represent themselves or seek professional representation in appeals to the TAD. Enroll in O’Connor’s Property Tax Protection Program™ and we’ll work hard to get you the best reduction possible. You only pay if your property taxes are reduced that year.
