BellCAD 2017 Employee Summary

As of 2022, the Tax Appraisal District of Bell County (CAD) is staffed by 42 individuals, of which 20 are appraisers. There were 9,197 tax parcels per appraiser for 2023. The appraisers are tasked with valuing thousands of tax parcels annually. Due to the limited number of appraisers, the high volume of valuations, and the inability to visually inspect properties beyond photography, there are prospects for protesting the property description and other relevant aspects.
