Labor is the primary cost determinant for the Collin Central Appraisal District (CAD). In 2023, Collin CAD employed 165 staff members — an increase from 152 in 2022. Of these, 57 were appraisers, each responsible for approximately 7,584 tax parcels. Among the appraisers, 29 focused on residential properties and 14 on commercial properties.
