Jefferson County 2024 Houses Property Tax Protest Summary

According to the Jefferson Central Appraisal District (CAD) in 2024, the market value of houses was $14 billion. 1,162 hearings were scheduled through the Appraisal Review Board (ARB) and about 708 houses received a reduction. To further fight the high values, seven lawsuits were filed by property owners in 2024, and they collectively received a reduction of $500,175.
