MidlCAD 2017 Employee Summary

As of 2023, the Midland County Central Appraisal District (CAD) has a total of 35 employees, including 12 appraisers, and its primary expenses are labor. Of the 12 appraisers, four of them evaluate residential property and three evaluate commercial property. Each appraiser is tasked with analyzing 35,170 properties to produce value assessments. There are opportunities to appeal the property description and other factors due to the limited number of appraisers and the abundance of valuations.
