NacoCAD 2017 Employee Summary

As of 2023, the Nacogdoches Central Appraisal District (CAD) employed 11 staff members, including four full-time appraisers, two focused on residential properties, and two on commercial. Each year, these appraisers are responsible for valuing thousands of tax parcels, averaging 18,291 parcels per appraiser. Given the limited number of appraisers, the substantial workload, and the challenges of conducting individual property inspections, different property factors can be subject to appeal and review.
