As of 2023, the Nacogdoches Central Appraisal District (CAD) employed 11 staff members, including four full-time appraisers, two focused on residential properties, and two on commercial. Each year, these appraisers are responsible for valuing thousands of tax parcels, averaging 18,291 parcels per appraiser.
