According to the Tarrant Appraisal District (TAD), the market value for residential, including houses, condos, and townhouses, resulted in $214 billion for 2023. Based on this value, 152,863 accounts were protested for property taxes. The value of single family property protested was $74 billion. The value of houses resolved through informal protests resulted in $4.8 billion. Through Appraisal Review Board (ARB) hearings, houses collectively received a reduction of $653 million.
