WallerCAD 2017 Employee Summary

Labor comprises the majority of Waller County Appraisal District (CAD) expenditures as of 2023. The appraisal district employed a staff of 25 employees with 13 full-time appraisers. Out of the 13 appraisers, 10 analyze residential property and only one analyzes commercial property. The district approximately has a total of 3,850 tax parcels per appraiser to evaluate. Because of the limited number of appraisers and the high volume of valuations, there are often opportunities to challenge the property description and other factors for a reduction.
