Williamson Central Appraisal District 2023 Houses Property Tax Protest Summary

In Williamson County, the market value for houses, condos, and townhouses in 2023 amounted to $93 billion. Due to the high residential property taxes, property owners filed a total of 57,013 protests that were valued at $29 billion. 30,418 protests were filed through the Appraisal Review Board (ARB) and about 16,652 houses received a reduction. Property owners received a reduction through the ARB that totaled $137 million.
