Wilson County Appraisal District 2023 Houses Property Tax Protest Summary

According to the Wilson County Appraisal District (CAD), the market value for houses, condos, and townhouses as of 2023 was $6 billion. Due to high or unfair assessments, property owners filed a total of 2,583 tax protests. The value of those protests was $68 million. Through Appraisal Review Board (ARB) hearings, 1,094 protests were filed, and 899 houses received a reduction. The reduction amounted to $48 million.
