LamarCAD 2017 Property Valuations

The Lamar County appraisal district (CAD) determines final property valuations after the protest period. In 2023, property owners in Lamar County submitted property tax appeals for 36,412 tax parcels. The market value for all property (including houses, apartments, commercial, and more) equals $9 billion. The market value for houses, condos, and townhouses resulted in $2 billion. Commercial was $529 million, and Business Personal Property (BPP) was $230 million.
