Smith County Property Valuations 2024

The Smith County property taxes are computed using the property values determined by the Smith County Appraisal District (CAD) after protests. As of 2024, there were about 180,168 tax parcels in the county for the appraisal district to evaluate. The market value of all property in the county was $39 billion in 2024. Drawn from that total, the market value for commercial was $4 billion, utilities were $601 million, and houses/condos were $20 billion.
