In 2023 for Travis County, 2,458 lawsuits were filed regarding ARB values on various types of properties. Out of this total, 391 were filed for houses, 1,117 for commercial, and 627 for apartments. The value of all lawsuits filed amounted to $80 billion. From this total, the value of lawsuits for houses was $1 billion and for commercial it was $35 billion. At the end of the lawsuits, houses received a reduction of $49 million, and commercial accounts fell in taxable value by $2 billion.
