FanninCAD 2018 Property Tax Protests
Fannin County Appraisal District received property tax appeals for a total of 1,060 real property and BPP accounts in 2018 versus 980 in 2017.The portion of Fannin County accounts protested increased from 3.43% to 3.01% in 2016 to 2018. The 2018 property tax protest count was for 750 commercial/industrial / other properties and 313 for houses (7.5% commercial vs 3.13% houses).The volume of Fannin County protests for houses has rised 11.8% in the last two years while the volume of commercial has fallen 36.7%.
