Lamb County 2024 Property Tax Protest
According to reports from the Lamb County Appraisal District (CAD), a modest number of property owners filed protests in 2024. A total of 92 protests were filed, with residential properties accounting for nine of them. Additionally, there were 35 protests for commercial properties and nine for business personal property (BPP). Altogether, the total value of the protests reached $47 million. At the end of the process, through Appraisal Review Board (ARB) hearings, a reduction of $271,693 was achieved.
